As a company that designs, builds and implements high-end custom and bespoke measurement (metrology) systems, we are at the leading-edge of measurement. Today, we pause to celebrate World Metrology Day. The 20th May was chosen in recognition of the signing of the Metre Convention in Paris in 1875. The international treaty focuses on the unification and improvement of the metric system and established the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM).
