Okay, it’s a bit dramatic (apologies to Shakespeare), but we have just said goodbye to our latest build. The Proscan Magnum is being shipped to one of our biggest (and oldest) customers in India. The company is one of the world’s largest aluminium producers. This build replaces a Proscan Magnum, which the company purchased around 20 years ago (just shows how good and robust the Magnum is). The Proscan Magnum is an offline surface and shape measurement system for sheet products. It can measure defects down to the sub-micron level. With user-friendly software, Magnum enables better product insight, which can lower costs and wastage.
